Bill Powell
(Piano)
Bill
is a wonderfully talented pianist and his music adds a wonderful dimension
to the music.
Bill
Powell has a Masters degree in music and is currently working on his CMA
in organ performance. He is an instructor of piano at Hood College
in Frederick, Maryland. In addition to touring with the Friends With
You Band, Mr. Powell is immersed in Christian music as: music director at
Glade United Church of Christ, organist and choir director at St.
Timothy's Catholic Church, and assistant organist at St. John the
Evangelist Catholic Church, all in Maryland.

Mark Nelson (aka: "Button Boy")
(Percussion: Zendrum)
Mark is blessed with a powerful voice. He sings "The Eagle and The Hawk"
to standing ovations, blowing the roof off the venue.
While not fighting fires at his daytime gig, Mark "Button Boy" Nelson
plays the Zendrum (a software-based percussion instrument), backing vocals
and keyboards. Mark also plays acoustic drums and has done so for
over 35 years. When not touring with the Friends With You Band, he
can be found playing around the Frederick, Maryland area with various
artists. |

Alex Mitchell
(Fiddle, Mandolin)
Acoustic multi-instrumentalist and Berkley graduate. Alexander
Mitchell plays fiddle, mandolin and guitar. for the past 25 years,
he has been cultivating such diverse styles as Appalachian, Bluegrass,
Celtic, Klezmer, Ballroom, Hot Swing, and Jazz. Mr. Mitchell has
toured with the Missouri Repertory theatre, appeared in Ted Turner's movie
"Gettysburg" as well as played on the soundtrack, appeared on the
Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center, at the Lisner Auditorium and at
the Birchmere. Alexander also teaches fiddle and mandolin at Boe's
Strings.
