A concert by the Friends With You Band features the
music of America's modern-day songwriter, John Denver. They take their
name from one of John's hit songs, "Friends With You." The band will
introduce you and your family to one of America's greatest singer/songwriters as they
perform his most famous and beloved songs. For John Denver's fans, the
band delights and enchants, while encouraging all to sing along.
The band does not attempt to "imitate" John Denver,
but rather interpret, respect and pay tribute to his enduring musical legacy.
As the performers are all individual singer/songwriters in their own right, they
weave into the show a couple of their own songs - songs perhaps inspired by John
Denver's music and commitment to the environment. For more information
